In the glare of eerie lights:
While the natives kept repeating
Ancient jungle rites.
All at once the dusky warriors began to
Raise their arms to skies above
A a native stepped forward to chant to
his Voodoo Godess of love.
Ah!
CHORUS
Great Babalu!
I 'm so lost and forsaken
Ah, great Babalu

Cultural Attractions in Cuba!
Baracoa
Located on the eastern coast of the island, the city of Baracoa was the first settlement in Cuba, and is believed to be where Christopher Columbus originally landed on the island. It is a beautiful oyster shaped bay, surrounded by verdant vegetation and wildlife. The flat topped mountain El Yunque provides breathtaking views out across the bay, and the many rivers make it a pleasure to explore on boat or by foot. Despite the historical significance and stunning natural landscape of Baracoa, relatively few people visit this place on their holidays to Cuba, so it is a relaxing place to visit away from the crowds.

Old Havana
(Spanish: La Habana Vieja) contains the core of the original city of Havana. The positions of the original Havana city walls are the modern boundaries of Old Havana.
Old Havana is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the name also refers to one of the municipalities of the city of Havana, Cuba, with the latter's boundaries extending to the south and west beyond the original city.
